2) Los Berrazales Winery, La Laja Estate, Agaete

This winery in the Valley of Agaete It is located under the cliffs of tamadaba and its centenary pine forest. On his farm, known as La LajaHave tropical fruits, coffee plantations and also vineyards. In this Gran Canaria winery they elaborate 11 types of wines thanks to the different microclimates where their vineyards are located: red, white, rosé and even sweet wine. We highlight the red barrel with a selection of Canarian red grapes: Listán Negro, Vijariego Negro, Castellana Negra and Tintilla.

6) Bochinche – La Montaña Winery, San Mateo

The Mountain is a winery and family bar located in La Solana, San Mateo. The Marrero family or "Los Marrero" began their activity in 1984 and currently three generations participate in the business.

7) Plaza Perdida Wineries, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

8) La Vica Vineyard, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Another of the important wineries on the island is La Vica Vineyard where they produce different types of wine under their two trademarks «La Vica Vineyard" Y "Dissenting«. 9) Mondalón Winery, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

10) La Higuera Mayor Winery, Telde

In La Higuera Mayor they make two types of red wines, one aged in wood and the other aged in stainless steel. Both have Listán Negro, Tintilla, Castellana and Negramoll grape varieties. 11) Bodega – restaurant Bodegón de Vandama, Santa Brígida

More wineries in Gran Canaria

There are other wineries in Gran Canaria that we do not want to fail to mention, although many do not offer guided tours. They are the following:

  • Escudero Estate, Santa Brígida. They offer guided tours of the estate every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. with wine tasting and other local products for €20 per person. You can book easily on their website.
  • El Volcán Winery, Santa Brígida. They do not offer guided tours as a general rule, unless a group contacts them. They usually organize specific events throughout the year such as Wine and Cinema o Volcano Rock. You can contact them at 650429659.
  • Hoyos de Bandama Winery. Its wines are marketed under the “Caldera” brand. and it is one of the most widespread wines in restaurants and supermarkets, wine stores and/or gourmet stores. For now they do not offer visits.

  • El Rincón de Guiniguada Winery and Vineyards. They offer guided tours with tasting of two wines (white and red), bread and cheese for €12 per person. Its owner tells us that it is better to call before going to 675919705.
  • Señorío de Cabrera Winery en Telde. On their website they indicate that they are preparing their facilities for visits, but that you can call them for requests.
  • Fronton de Oro Winery in San Mateo. They accept visits with prior notice, they did not inform us of rates. The contact telephone number is 670634863.

  • Ventura Winery (Eidan came), Monte Lentiscal. We have not obtained information about visits, if they respond to us, we will update the content.
  • Tameran Winery, San Bartolomé de Tirajana. This winery does not offer visits at the moment. It is the winery of the Canarian soccer player David Silva. You can try his wine in the Wine O'clock restaurant in Telde. By the way, they usually organize pairing dinners here and the food is very good.
