Amélie Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Amélie has specialized in an offer with dishes packed with fresh, healthy ingredients, many with a French twist. Among its specialties, the following stand out: cakes buckwheat bretons, perfect for those who are gluten intolerant. You can have them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In addition, by using a gluten-free base for the galettes, 100% whole wheat flour is the most filling and you have several flavor options to choose from (sirloin, salmon, sweet blood sausage) Teror…). We also highlight its different toasts of Homemade bread and sweet crepes. This is doom for the lovers of breakfast and brunch in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria!

✔️ Breakfast and brunch with a French touch

At Amélie, breakfast and brunch are an experience in itself. We highlight their French Toast Homemade bread with various ingredients , the avocado, homemade pesto, egg, smoked salmon, and beef pastrami. Also, if you like to start the day with something sweet, you can't miss trying their crêpes or even try a galette. They have options for everyone, whether you prefer something light or looking for a hearty breakfast. If I'm not mistaken, they are the only place in Gran Canaria that makes authentic cakes and what can you pair with French-style cider. Although I recommend you not miss their either natural juices and lemonades, very good!

✔️ Healthy lunches and dinners

If you prefer something more substantial, lunches and dinners at Amélie will not disappoint. Breton buckwheat galettes They are a spectacle, with fresh ingredients and options for all palates. Of the galettes we have tried, we recommend the one sirloin-bacon, although they also have vegetarian options. Other dishes that won us over were their Beetroot carpaccio and salmon tartare, although we still have many things to try. Remember that you can also go to dinner on Fridays and Saturdays (we share the schedules at the end).

✔️ Sweet options, the best crêpes in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria!

If you are one of those who cannot resist desserts, Amélie's crêpes are a must-try. Both the Mont-Blanc Crepe with chestnut cream and meringueand Tatin with vanilla apple and salted caramel, are a spectacle. They also have other sweets like their Banana Bread homemade, but knowing what the house specialty is (French cuisine) I ordered a fixed crêpe.
